FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some of the questions we get most often about the house and the island. If you have others, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

How do I get to Green Turtle Cay?

Commercial flights come into Marsh Harbour airport. From Marsh Harbour, you take a cab ride (about 45 minutes) to the ferry dock on mainland Abaco. The ferry then brings you over to GTC. When you dock on GTC, our property manager will pick you up in a golf cart and take you to the house.

Smaller private flights are currently flying into Treasure Cay airport from Florida. From Treasure Cay airport, it is a 5 minute cab ride to the ferry dock.

How many people does Bonefish Bluff sleep?

The house sleeps 6. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the guest bedroom has a king bed and 2 single loft beds.

What is included with the house rental?

In addition to the house, gorgeous view, and visiting chickens, the house has 2 paddle boards and a kayak (for 1-2 people).

Does your outdoor shower have a view?

Funny you should ask! Yes, the shower has an unbelievable view of the Sea of Abaco. There is no better way to end a day in paradise.

Is there wifi and/or a TV?

Yes, there is wifi. (But - remember you are on an island, so it can be spotty at times. If the internet goes out, we recommend you divert your attention to the view and grab a Kalik.) Yes, there is a TV that has access to Netflix and other streaming services. You can choose to have the TV out in the living room, or it can be tucked away if you prefer.

What is there to do on Green Turtle Cay?

So much! Beaching, boating, fishing - activities on GTC are all about enjoying the natural beauty of the island and its waters. Our perfect day goes like this: Up early to fish the flat. Have some homemade coconut bread for breakfast (ask about it at Sid's Grocery). Get in a boat to visit nearby islands, snorkel, and fish. Lunch and Kaliks on the boat. Back home for an outdoor shower, then a walk on Gilliam Bay beach. Head to Pineapples for a Goombay Smash and conch fritters. Then a good night's sleep so we can do it all again the next day.

Are there green turtles around Green Turtle Cay?

Yes! You will certainly see their little noses sticking up through the surface of the water and will be amazed by how fast they swim!

I want to go! How do I book my stay?

Easy - check out our page at Abaco Island Rentals for rates and availability and/or click the "Book It" button below to contact them right now. They will take care of all the details!
